The last tour of FLOW.15

Hello.
I have one art exhibition in NYC right now, and it is closing on middle of November.
Group of sculptures, named El Barrio Comes in All Colors, Shapes and Sizes, is placed on Randal’s Island, as a part of FLOW.15 out door art show.

You can read some Manga of behind story of the sculptures.

The last FLOW.15 Tour will be held on Friday November 6, 4pm.
I am thinking of a very special thing on that day.
Please swing by the tour.
I know the time, 4pm, is early and not easy to come for general people, but I will be staying there until 6pm. I am looking forward to seeing you there!

I will show you all my thoughts about the sculptures!

We will be meeting at the Randall's Island side of the 103rd Street footbridge.

I will give away my art goods to you on the site, too.

El Barrio Comes in All Colors, Shapes and Sizes

Hi!

I have been working on a big challenge for something I never done before.
Please take a look here:
http://www.flowartnyc.org/artists/rica-takashima

I will participate in FLOW.15  and show new work,

El Barrio Comes in All Colors, Shapes and Sizes

This is a sculpture in Manga style. It will be installed at Randall's Island in May.
The Randall's Island is located between Harlem river and East river.
The theme of this art work is my respect for people and the history of East Harlem.

You can sit on the legs of this big woman, and gaze the beautiful scenary from
Randall's Island.

I will constantly post my thoughts, secrets, progress, and story of the sculpture at the FLOW.15 website.
Please check FLOW's my page!

Thanks!
